The Role
Working closely with the Head of Workplace Relations, you will partner with the Workplace Relations Team, HR Team and leaders across the organisation to provide technical advice, supporting the achievement of organisational goals.
  
Key focuses:

  • Build strong working relationships based on credibility to enable the provision of accurate, commercial and timely advice to stakeholders;
  • Work alongside the HR Team and operational leaders to build and embed greater capability in  employee relations best practice, risk management and compliance;
  • Manage highly complex cases, dispute resolution and negotiations with union stakeholders;
  • Prepare for and represent the organisation in various industrial commissions and tribunals where necessary;
  • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures and standards and other relevant documents to support workplace relations best practice.
About You
An expert in workplace relations, your demonstrated success in building trust and successfully partnering with stakeholders, will be key to your success in this role.

Additionally, you will bring:
  • Strong experience in a similar role, providing comprehensive workplace relations advice within an industrialised environment;
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and influencing skills, driven by a strong service orientation;
  • The ability to think strategically to diagnose and identify opportunities and gaps, influence, then plan and execute;
  • Experience in representing your employer within various industrial commissions and tribunals and briefing legal representation.
