About the Role

Reporting into the VP People & Culture APAC, this newly created Senior HR Business Partner role will succeed the current interim HR Director ANZ, who has led a successful restructuring of the HR function. This new structure aims to enhance efficiency and foster collaboration with the global Centres of Excellence (CoEs).

The HRBP role will focus on building a strong, aligned team in the long term while improving operational rhythms to support broader people strategies. An immediate priority will be managing the implementation process of what will hopefully be a successful negotiation process for their new National Enterprise Agreement as well as supporting other key transformation projects and People & Culture initiatives.

With a workforce of approximately 220 employees across Australia, including 110 in field operations, this role will have a significant focus on Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR). The HRBP will provide support across diverse employee groups, from blue-collar to white-collar roles, in areas such as sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and field operations.

This strategic position is a key member of the APAC people & culture team and encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities aimed at enhancing employee experience, driving talent management initiatives, and ensuring adherence to HR best practices.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources (or similar)
  • 6 years of HR experience in an HR generalist or advisory role
  • Strong ER & IR experience with experience in negotiating enterprise bargaining agreements.
  • Experience in working with global teams and working in a corporate environment.
  • Positive attitude, resilient and happy to roll up sleeves to get the job done.
  • Strong problem-solving skills – able to look at alternative paths when the answer is not immediately available.
  • Excellent understanding of Australia employment law
  • Experience working in a fast-paced organisation (ideally technology)
  • Change management & leadership experience
