About the Role
We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Industrial Relations (IR) Specialist to join an energy infrastructure company on a contract basis.
This role is critical in supporting the final stages of a gas pipeline construction and commissioning project in the Hunter Region. 
    
About You
You will need to have strong skills and previous experience as an HR/ IR professional to work closely with leaders and commissioning sub-contractors to develop and implement a unified IR management plan.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing union right of entries, coordinating responses, and developing contingency strategies for union actions.
  • Proactively engaging with ETU, AWU, and CFMEU representatives to support a smooth project completion.
  • Building on-site leadership confidence in handling IR-related matters and ensuring best practices are followed.
  
To be successful you will need to have proven ability to engage and negotiate with unions (ETU, AWU, CFMEU) effectively.

You will be able to travel to the site and meet face to face with customers 
You will be available to step in and assist this busy organisation asap.
